Climbing Out

Benjamin has started getting himself out of bed in the morning. Unfortunately, he also gets himself out at bedtime.


We tried turning the crib around, so the shorter side is against the wall, but he climbed out just as easily--we had only made the drop to the floor more dangerous.

So that's the end of crib sleeping. He'll sleep on a mattress on the floor for now. Soon, Jack will move to the top bunk of the bunk bed, and Benjamin can take the bottom. Now how will we keep Benjamin from climbing to the top bunk...?

Playing with Pop and Picking Potatoes

We went to visit Grandma and Pop and Roger and Regrin in NC.


Grandma took us to a local nursery to pick some potatoes for dinner.


The next day, Pop took us to a local park to feed the ducks.
